Synopsis

Ο νεαρός Μέρλιν είναι ένας έφηβος, που ανακαλύπτει και στη συνέχεια μαθαίνει να ελέγχει το χάρισμα του στη μαγεία. Ο Μάγιστρος Γάιος, ο πολυμαθής γιατρός της αυλής του Ούθερ Πεντράγκον στον οποίο έχει ανατεθεί ως ταπεινός ακόλουθος, τον διδάσκει ιατρική, εκπαιδεύει την αυτοδιδασκαλία του στη μαγεία και τον προειδοποιεί για την διεφθαρμένη απέχθεια του Ούθερ για τη μαγεία.
