Synopsis

Η ιστορία ακολουθεί τον Jay Singletary, έναν πρώην πεζοναύτη που προσποιείται τον δημοσιογράφο για να αποκαλύψει την αλήθεια πίσω απο ένα σκάνδαλο του Hollywood, που συνδέεται με τον δολοφόνο της Μαύρης Ντάλια, μίας Αμερικανίδας που δολοφονήθηκε στο Λος Άντζελες της Καλιφόρνια το 1947. Το δεύτερο πρόσωπο της ιστορίας είναι η Fauna Hodel, μια νεαρή γυναίκα που εγκαταλείφθηκε απο την μητέρα της το 1949. Στην προσπάθεια της να αποκαλύψει τα μυστικά του παρελθόντος της, η Fauna θα οδηγηθεί σε ένα σκοτεινό και επικίνδυνο μονοπάτι.
